I had heard about the efficacy of raw ginger root to help with the common cold.

Around two weeks ago, I found myself with the symptoms (runny nose, stuffed head and sinusessneezaing, etc.) and aet about a large tablespoon of raw ginger root and washed it down with a highly citrus juice mixture (two lemons squeezed with one orange). Within 48 hours, ALL symptoms were completely gone!

I started using ginger a few weeks ago. Just raw ginger washed down with ordinary water (just about the equivalent of 2 x large tablespoon of ginger a day)

Where my forehead felt hot before, It feels a lot cooler now. Less headaches, more energy and a good feeling of well being.

No side effects at all.

Today, I am also trying a proportion of onion as well to see what benefits that has. Apparently that has many too.

I have no sore throat or coughs etc.

A water/ginger mix is also nice and refreshing on the skin.

It is an amazing plant. It must have 100's of other uses.

For about a year now I have had pain in my shoulder similar to Bursitis. Nothing helped. I took a ginger root, peeled it, grated it, squeezed out the juice and drank it straight, probably a 1/2 - 1 tblsp. twice a day. Finally the pain is beginning to disappear. Helped with indigestion and asthma too.
